What Most Buyers Miss: The 'Expertise Boundary' Smell Test
Most buyers focus on price and delivery—the obvious factors. But the real question is: what is this vendor actually world-class at?

- Ask for referrals in the exact product category. Not 'similar projects,' but the exact same equipment. If they can't name three recent clients for that specific item, that's a red flag.

But What About the Convenience of One Supplier?

I don't believe any supplier can be world-class at everything. The ones who claim to be 'one-stop shops' for complex mining equipment are either misleading you or compromising on quality somewhere. A good supplier will tell you what they're best at—and what's better left to someone else.
That's not weakness. That's professionalism.
